With the clandestine rise of illicit activities Peter mentions going on in San Marino involving Russians, I'm thinking why did China turn Hong Kong and Macau back into fully-CCP controlled parts of China? Those would have been great points for laundering money, gold, diamonds, documents found at Mar-A-Lago, and shady people.
