  1. I'm not so concerned that Russia's nukes won't work, more concerned that they will work haphazardly. Some might launch but the warheads won't work, some might not launch but the warheads detonate at the launch site, and every mix of possibilities in between those. They probably still have enough nukes to cause catastrophic damage across Europe, the USA, and other spots around the world, but Putin is going to cause extensive damage to his own country, too when he pushes that big red button to try and save himself from the humiliation of defeat. I'm not sure how China figures into this messy scenario, we know they have nukes, but how many and in what form is kind of fuzzy AFAIK.
