  1. A lot of Russian equipment is copied from western equipment designs, so you could say they've already been doing that. Old communist tactic, just steal the plans and copy, no need spent time and money doing the research and designing something new.

That whole kerfluffel in the White House with minerals reminded me of the accusations of the Bidens (fahter and sin) doing something similar with Ukraine and oil, only Trump is allowed to get away with a mineral/mining deal while Biden is crucified for using his presidential position of influence for something that didn't happen/was never proved to have happened.
