  1. "B" level movies. They cost a whole lot less than the big-budget "A" level movies but have the potential to rake in huge profits even if they have only mediocre box office success and some good reception in the streaming/DVD marketing space. I worked with a gal who worked for one of those 'studios' (they only had an office, no actual filming studio) doing both screenwriting and marketing (typical dual-roles in those small studios). She mentioned they were always busy, and most of what they produced made a profit due to the low costs involved at that level. It can only get more profitable with AI and CGI.
