I thought there were still quite a few USA forces spread out in the Middle east - Kuwait, Bahrain (or is it Qatar?), and a few in U.A.E. within quick-strike distance of the Strait of Hormuz and Yemen. That kind of covers the area quite well with Israel on the northern flank (indirectly) ready to deal with any hanky-panky from Syria or other rabble-rousers in their immediate area. SA has been gettiing 'chummy' with Xi and his lackeys, lets see how that works out for them.
