What you're saying about "India for Indians" may be economically playing out right now as India (or Indian oil processors) have been dragging their heels on paying for Russian oil with Chinese Yuan. Apparently theirs a 3% cost in the conversion process between rupees and yuan, and Indians would rather use UAE dinhams(?) that are more useful for their international trade needs vs Russia's desire for yuan. And thanks for pointing out the 'rise' of India's slow rise on the world's economic stage, seems a lot of folks are missing that point.
