  1. Yeah, I'll second svenhoek's post in saying its ALL social media that's causing a lot of anxiety in societies around the world, not just South Korea. Hopefully it all ends up well for you and the rest of the country, the best is that the country's constitution works and South Korea carries on as a democracy regardless of this situation with Mr. Yoon.

  2. This is one time the 7-day lag worked well, letting the dust settle to get a clear view before describing what happened. That whole episode in Korean with Yoon's martial law declaration kind of reminded me of the Liz Truss(?) prime minister situation in the UK where she came out with a whole bunch of brutal austerity plans to reignite the economy and got the boot from her party members in Parliament. I think her leadership lasted 45 days?
