  1.  @theforsakeen177  I thought the whole area was kind of "meh" for the Ottomans. just a 'pass through' area on their way to other places of more significance. They came by and checked in on the place once in a while, see if anyone had stumbled across any valuable resources to be plundered, but other than that they left the residents alone to do their own thing(s).
