That 55% "approve" of Michelle Obama, who's never held any office, leaves me flabbergasted by the strange ways of the American psyche.

Here's what RT says about this: "The only person who could beat Trump is Michelle Obama, the poll suggests. In her matchup against the former president, some 50% of registered voters said they would vote for her, compared to 39% who said they would vote for Trump. The former first lady also appears to have a better public image than the other candidates.
