@graceclark3481 I am the old generation. I am 70 years old. A sense of humor has gotten me through a divorce at 19, raising a daughter who is learning disabled alone, only $15 child support the WHOLE TIME she was growing up, Non-hodgkins Lymphoma cancer, two 18 wheeler trucks hit my vehicle from behind one year apart giving me back, head and neck injuries, and now I have a touch of Alheimers an Dementia. I also have GERD, esophageal spasms that hurt as bad as a heart attack. Oh there's a lot more but I don't want to bore you. I also believe the generations since 1960 are a different breed. All we can do is do the best we can. This generation will have to solve their problems because we won't be here.

As Mammy said in Gone With the Wind, "Weeze gauwna puts 'em in the boilin' pots..."". They boiled the water and swished and wrang the clothes in homemade soap. Then rinsed them. ( Just so you know I respected Mammy as much as Clark Gable did on and off the camera.)
