  2. Don't forget how hard they worked and the long hours they put in. Walking to the store or planting, harvesting and canning. Cast iron skillets to lift. Eggs to retrieve and cleaning out the chicken coup. Wood to chop. Cutting up meat and smoking it. Good grief I could go on forever.

  3. Many times they would build an outdoor oven or hang pots over wood outside like a campfire.

  4. And it tastes so much better than an upscale high priced restaurant too.

  5. With no TV, computers or phones a lot of what they use to do also helped the day go by. Somethings were entertaining like snaping beans or other cooking. And think of all the pride it brought.
