  1. GOOD FATHERING! I fear the current 'woke' cult and worry they they are going to raise some really dysfunctional humans! Growing up, you're supposed to learn risk-taking! Kids these days don't learn that... Kids should learn how to adventure, take risks, learn how to survive, how to think on your feet, how to improvise and how to deal with people. Of course I can understand the mother's reaction but the father probably had a wider life experience.
