A good question. They're called "guidelines". Please look it up and read until you can grasp the concept.
6
Guidelines, buddy. Guidelines. It's not a difficult concept.
4
Guidelines that you didn't even know existed before will not stop you from doing so.
3
So he should be corrupt and encourage drinking?
3
Seems like a lot of alcoholics here. Explains a lot.
3
Ok. Guidelines that you didn't even know existed will not stop you from doing so.
3
No? They're guidelines. Do you understand what guidelines are?
3
They're not limiting anything. These are guidelines. I'm sure they also have guidelines saying don't do drugs. 🤦🤦♂🤦♀
3
You didn't know the previous guideline existed. The new (possible) guideline is only in your life because you care about it.
2
@luckypupito1344 No. It doesn't. They're just guidelines.🤦🤦♂🤦♀
2
@muffs55mercury61 Celebrating the fact they may update guidelines you didn't know existed in 2025?
2
SmallvilleFann1983 What??? These are guidelines. That's it.
2
Imagine being this triggered by guidelines... 🤦🤦♂🤦♀
2
@Breadbored. You're right! Because they're simple, benign guidelines. 😂😂
2
@braddouglas7839 "Guidelines" didn't do that. Mandates did. Lockdowns can work (look at New Zealand), but the Trump Lockdowns failed because people didn't actually quarantine.
2
Guidelines don't limit anything. This really is a simple concept. 🤦🤦♂🤦♀
2
@Kurt77777 If someone needs 10,000 calories, they should know that they shouldn't follow a general recommendation. So, anybody who makes a recommendation is now a criminal? 🤦🤦♂🤦♀
1
They're guidelines, guys. It's not a difficult concept.
1
davidgreg6907 bb, don't leave me. I love you. My passport was stolen. Can you help me pay for a hotel? I love you, bb.
1
Dang. That is some dark humor.
1
A lot of you Faux News sheep seem to have trouble grasping the concept of "guidelines".
1
Um, sure. Guidelines will not stop you. Why is this so difficult for you sheep to understand?
1
@juliebenjamin9641 No, you sheep don't get it. You're being triggered by guidelines you didn't know existed. Why didn't you know they existed? Because they're just guidelines, they don't affect your life unless you care about them.🤦🤦♂🤦♀
1
@Kurt77777 I think the 2,000 calorie guideline is a pretty good starting place. But, whatever. To each their own.
1
@Kurt77777 Criminal? Making a recomendation is now criminal. 😂😂🤣 I guess the First Amendment doesn't matter. I recommend you read a book. Oh, no! I'm a criminal now!
1
@tanshihus1 What?
1
Too many of you Faux News sheep seem to have trouble grasping the concept of "guidelines".
1
@Breadbored. Most governments don't arrest you for not respecting their guidelines. 😂😂
1
@tanshihus1 We make constant sacrifices for society. It is the norm.
1
@tanshihus1 So, his job is to be corrupt and protect his job?
1
@tanshihus1 ? Ok, then...
1
Because one part of his government may slightly update their guidelines?
1
davidgreg6907 Hey, bb. Do you have Grindr?
1
@danoalex2977 You clearly don't understand the concept of guidelines... I recommend you don't eat 20 pounds of French fries everyday. Let's make a guideline together: Eating more than an extra-large order of French fries per day is bad.
1
@danoalex2977 Ok, dude. Look up what guidelines are. You clearly don't know.
1
davidgreg6907 Bb, I want to come see you, but I have to save up for a plane ticket. Maybe you can help me pay for it. It won't cost much.
1
@danoalex2977 You can't either.
1
@danoalex2977 You have said 2 pronouns. Did you know there are other pronouns? There is even a pronoun for plural nouns.
1
@danoalex2977 I understand the difference between federal laws and guidelines. Do you?
1
@danoalex2977 Um, ok. The proper response to a question with "do" is to use "do" or "don't". "You don’t either." Although in this case, you seem to be admitting that you don't understand the difference and I've already stated my belief.
1
@beelikemizu604 Did you know about the current guidelines? No? That's how much power they have. This isn't even worth a footnote in a real newpaper.
1
@johnnytx45 "I like how children are gunned down by beautiful AR-15s." Republicans.
1
@braddouglas7839 They've always done this. They're not "pre-mandates", they've not shoved at you (you didn't even know these existed before Faux News had a meltdown over it). The government DOES have a role in our health, these guidelines just say that this is what the government thinks. That's it. So, why do you care?
1
@braddouglas7839 Let's be honest. You're just a sheep. Faux News says it's bad, so now you'll defend it to the end. No matter how stupid it is.
1
Guidelines. Simple concept.
1
@honkoff99 ??? Guidelines aren't laws. 🤦🤦♂🤦♀
1
@beelikemizu604 Um. No. You sheep are paranoid. This is a simple guideline up for review in 2025. That's it.
1
@jtf873 Health insurance companies work on cold statistics. They already take your alcohol consumption into account. They have actuaries, they don't care about what the government recommends.
1
@beelikemizu604 😂 Real consequences? Like a family member saying that the government recommends less alcohol? Oh, no! Guidelines from the government is just like 1984! 😂😂🤣
1
@fishtexas5548 Guidelines don't "invade" your private life. 😂🤣 Why is this such a hard concept for you sheep?
