  1. I visited China for about a month a couple years ago, going to Shanghai, Xian, Beijing and some rural areas and I was approached by women wanting to talk to me or take selfies with me. In several hostels, the Chinese people there were really interested in me. I view myself as a moderately attractive white guy but this was the only time I have received that kind of attention on a near daily basis. It was bizarre yet comical. Maybe it’s because I have lighter hair, white skin and blue eyes.......
