I practically pass out every time I mop the floor with Parson's. The lemon-scented Parson's ammonia is better though. That way when I pass out I have a smile on my face.

You don't stay on-air very long if you talk about that. Actually you often don't stay breathing air if you talk about it.

And Jesus said "the stupid are always with you".---Bochephus 3:7

And removing CO2 is one of the dumbest. I think enviromentalists hate plants. Hell, a lot of them eat them. In fact, they ONLY eat plants. I know, I know, I'm shocked too. Murderous bastards.
1
I can't wait to see what'll happen when tens of millions of proud new EV owners all plug in their cars at the same time.
1
Actually I'm a 70 year old man and YouTube assigned me this random name because I wasn't smart enough to figure out how to change it. Don't know where you are but I'm in the US and right now especially in hot weather both California and Texas are warning people to not run their air conditioners or they might crash the grid. I don't know what "FUD" is but I don't care one way or the other about EVs because, as I said, I'm 70 and already have a car and a truck and probably won't ever buy a new car again so I have no bias. I just know in the US that the environmentalists shut down every new power plant that they try to build and I think they need to make a choice: we need more power generating or we need to forget EVs, one or the other. Environmentalists want it both ways and reality doesn't work like that. By the way, the oil and gas companies are heavily invested in wind and solar too so I think they win either way. @DuarteMolha

I suspect he means nitrogen-based fertilizers.
1
If you have to put one barrel of oil in to get one barrel out what's the point? Plus that barrel has to be transported there and the new barrel transported to the end user. Wouldn't just transporting the first barrel directly to the end user save transportation costs, which are most likely oil powered? I must not be understanding something here.
1
I'm waiting for them to declare O2 a pollutant.
1
The real question: do we actually need saving? Or are we being scare-mongered into thinking we need saving?
1
Wow, I knew that Norway had long winters but 23 months a year? No wonder the Vikings were always looking for a new place to live....Just kidding Northman.
1
Why waste time killing lab rats when you can just use people instead?
1
Is Al still alive? Haven't heard much about him lately. Must be busy counting the millions he's made off his scam while cackling and muttering "rubes".
1
Shall I mention the elephant in the room? Earth has a pretty big say in whether we "solve climate change". I'm not sure buses and trains are going to win that fight.
1
It is a religion that brooks no contradiction, no differing opinion. And a hoax. Well, not exactly a hoax. The planet is warming as it has done at the end of many ice ages. The hoax part is that we're told it's our fault.
1
Don't blame capitalism. China is a Communist country and the waste there is stupendous. They are responsible for the most part for that huge raft of plastic floating debris in the Pacific. It's just a new brand of Kool-Aid the elites are pushing : capitalism is bad. Sounds funny coming from multi-billionaires who made those billions via capitalism. Stop being a parrot for everything you hear in the media, which is owned by those same billionaires. Try a little of this new thing called critical thinking. You know, think for yourself. It's addicting.
1
Beware utopians! It always turns into force and the deaths of millions.
1
Do you know how many people mispronounce Peter's last name? I wonder if that bothers him as much as him saying nucular bothers commenters? You're about the 6th one.
1
I'm doing my part for the environment: I bought a bicycle! I've had it a couple of years and intend to ride it one of these days but I sure feel good about my contribution to fight global warming.
1
Of course it works as long as you have enough money to buy enough solar panels to generate enough electricity and have enough batteries to run a house. Unfortunately that's more money than a majority of the people on the planet have. You could have ants riding little bicycle-generators and power Disney World, but you'd need a Hell of a lot of ants and bicycles. It's not can it be done but is it practical? Does it come anywhere close to paying for itself justifying the huge up front costs? Plus solar panels and batteries wear out so you need new ones, more cost. Plus you have to dispose of those expired items and solar panels just don't recycle well. The man hours to pry a solar panel apart to recycle all of the various components cost more than a new panel so they are just tossed in a landfill. Like windmill blades: totally unrecyclable so they bury them. Not very environmental, huh?

Actually I think it's the Russians pushing the war. So you're saying Russia is a clandestine arm of the CIA? Oooooh, sneaky, very sneaky. @AcmePotatoPackingPocatello
1
You know how he says "I'm in Colorado, "I'm in New Zealand", "I'm in <fill in the blank>"?. That's not true. He has always been lost in the same patch of woods the whole time. He just won't admit it. I know I've seen the same tree in every video for months. I just know it.
1
Now if we can just get Elon to build a SpaceX/Tesla truck hybrid we'd be all set. But all he can think about is Mars so he probably wouldn't. Say, any of that stuff on Mars?
1
I hear that Al Gore is "trying" to install solar on his home and Taylor Swift sold one of her private jets so if they can make such huge sacrifices in their lives surely the rest of us can live without electricity to do our part.
1
It's all designed to bring the West down to the world average so that a One World Government can be installed which will involve a much more prinitive lifestyle for everyone. Remember, under Communism we must all be equal...equally miserable. @gorkyd7912
1
"when there is no wind, build more windmills". That reminds me of that old joke "we lose money on every unit we sell but we make it up in volume". Must have been someone from the government.
1
You don't understand the elite's plan for us. We won't need cement, glass, and ships. Grass huts are our future. Walking everywhere we go. On a cold night we can all huddle together and let our happy thoughts about saving the Earth keep us warm.
1
But you see, you will be financing it, not them. It's incredibly easy to spend other people's money and tell other people how they must live. Rules for thee but not for me. Want to talk about two global warming heroes, Al Gore and Leo DiCapprio both of whom use private jets to race around the globe lecturing us on how we need to reduce our lifestyles?
1
"I read something somewhere that said it is probably bad". Sounds a lot like the whole basis for the human-caused global warming hysteria.

He has a daughter? Is she alright, ya know, not...well I always figured he'd mate with a bear or something. I've solo hiked a lot and I've never come upon a female human in heat but I have seen some amorous bears. They are rather hard to breed with, bears that is, because you are up in a tree and looking down, watching while they eat the tree out from under you. I don't know about others, but I have a hard time "rising to the occasion" at such times. Maybe I should carry Viagra when I hike. Be prepared my old scoutmaster used to say....before he was killed by a bear... @shepherdsknoll
1
Breathing creates carbon so stop it!
1
He keeps losing them. When you hike you will know if Peter has been there before you because all the bears will be wearing shades.
1
"Oh the humanity!"
1
That's like jumping out of airplane in flight and figuring out how you will land safely on the way down. What could go wrong?
1
And just imagine what that new Tesla using today's technology will be worth 6-8-10 years from now when the brave new world spoken of here arrives. Early adopters are frequently subject to later buyer's remorse. Pioneers end up full of arrows, settlers later prosper on the same ground.
1
That's OK. In a world of hunger we burn corn aka ethanol.
1
Nuke-u-lur. That's the answer.
1
One problem with putting in big solar farms is, interestingly enough, enviromentalists. They blocked one big project because of a desert tortoise who apparently will curl up and die if shaded. Same with windmills, though that complaint does have a basis in fact. Windmills are decimating large birds and bats. I saw a YouTube video of a big windmill turning in that seemingly slow way they do with this big hawk circling above it. He circled and circled and Pow! Poof of feathers. Face-plant.
1
If that's true then you better be very, very careful. People like you frequently have fatal "accidents".
1
Don't worry buddy, they're still in there waiting for you to go to sleep. Then they'll pounce.
1
You'd make a great chemistry teacher. I guarantee you'd have all the boys' attention! @brasidas2011
1
That's the problem with all of this: storage. We need a major breakthrough in battery tech, like a quantum leap sized one. @sweetbriarfarm777
1
Gosh, it almost sounds like they are C-C-C-Communists. You're right, they are. @gorkyd7912
1
Exactly. The oceans warm first, this warms the air plus releases huge amounts of CO2. The oceans are the largest CO2 sink on the planet and warm water can't hold as much CO2 as cold water so it releases it as it warms. Similar to why a warm Coke bubbles a lot more than a cold Coke. Rising CO2 levels are not a cause of global warming. They are a result of global warming. First comes warming then comes rising CO2 levels. It's like smoke and fire: fires make smoke, smoke does not make fire. Warming causes CO2, CO2 doesn't cause warming.
1
And guess how solar panels and windmills and batteries and EVs are created and transported...
1
Oh good. Will we then be able to talk about those evil hydrogen companies. Evil oil companies is so passe.
1
Actually it goes a lot higher than the Dems, they're just useful idiots. Let us just call their puppet masters "them that cannot be named".
1
Not only is CO2 only .04%, that means it's .0004 of the atmosphere by the way, most of that is naturally occurring. Man's contribution is a fraction of .04%. But we need to spend trillions of dollars we don't have to make it even lower.
1
What problem? Oh, the one where Earth is constantly warming and cooling and has been doing so without man's participation for millions of years? That problem?
1
"But the problem is repeating it does make it true, in people's minds anyway. "Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth".---Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's propaganda minister. Reading this comment section is proof that he was right. Listen to all the true believers in human-caused global warming, who believe CO2 is the enemy and must be stamped out, those evil fossil fuels that propelled humans from short lifetimes of misery to the lives of ease we live today. It's mind-boggling isn't it? How easily manipulated people are even today. My conclusion is that humanity reached it's mental apex somewhere around those glorious ancient Greeks and has been descending ever since. Each generation just becomes dumber and more easily herded. Soon sheep will be smarter than the average human. The problem is not fossil fuels nor CO2 nor global warming. It's human stupidity. As Einstein said "the difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits."
1
The basis for all this is not science. It's politics and profit. Science has nothing to do with it. Like wearing masks during COVID. The science said that that would lower your natural immune resistance but wearing masks made people feel safer so masks it was. Politics over science. What is true is not important. What people THINK is true is.
1
Unfortunately yes.
1
Yes, we must have a baseline source that is dependable. That is either fossil fuel power plants or nuclear. Add in wind and solar and hamster wheels when available. In the old days of simple electrical devices and incandescent light bulbs a drop in the power supply would cause things to slow down and lights to dim. But that doesn't work with computers. A little drop in power and they all crash.
1
An extra pair of underwear.
1
And the Russians win and then attack Poland and Latvia and Lithuania and Estonia...good plan.
