  1. Women shoot themselves in the foot every chance they get. They keep complaining that men aren't interested in them and yet they keep giving men more reasons not to be interested in them. And more reasons and more reasons. The solution to the "foodie date" scam is simple. Don't take her where she wants to go, take her where you want to go. Then when the waitress says "may I take your order?" say "separate checks please". If the woman doesn't like that she can get up and leave and you can enjoy a pleasant dinner alone.
