The British feminist movement was organised by Emmeline Pankhurst and she was corrupt in that she was a rich wife that only fought for rich women to have the vote. There was no conscription in Britain at the time of WW1, so she also publicly shamed young men into going to war during WW1, by handing out a white feather in public as a symbol of cowardice. She was an evil woman and the feminist movement was always about female superiority, rather than equality. If anything, the feminist movement is the most powerful now, then it's ever been.
