  3.  @TH-tl6sy  they clear cut everything when they're logging. They leave the "trash" trees and take what they want. There ARE no trees left to suck up nutrients and stop light. When they reforest, they plant only the trees that they want to cut down.....miles and miles of only pine trees are NOT conducive to animals living there. On the other hand, NOTHING grows under acres of pine trees....the needles that fall are too acidic. So there's no under growth. LOgging has tremendous CO2 emissions....what do you think those huge machines run on? cheers!
