  1. things may have changed, but disability for ordinary ppl are also supposed to take no longer than 3-4 mos. Mine took 9....I made rent (thank you credit cards for everything else!) but later i had to declare bankruptcy. The govt workers went on strike for a couple of mos, and then it turned out that my Dr had NO license to practice in Ontario. (encouraging....)
