it will be the ash that will be interesting. Enough of it will lower the Earth's temp by several degrees. The year after Krakatoa blew up was known as the year without a summer...it was hard to grow crops all over the world.

@appl2597 i remember Pele running over some houses and roads....it was slow enough at the end that some ppl were turning hoses on the lava to turn it to stone before it hit their places. All the best to you!! (or maybe that was Pele from an earlier eruption...sorry)

@josephastier7421 oh no, it's WAY WAY smaller...and if the lava can flow that well, i doubt it would blow up like Krakatoa did! But really, it would only take one large volcano or several smaller ones to bring the world's temp down considerably. All the best to you!!

Dunno if a chain of smaller volcano's per yr would do the trick. all the best to you! ps Bill Gates wants to sprinkle Calcium something all through the upper atmosphere to decrease sunlight to Earth and bring the temp down. Considering how well everything else has gone when man fools with Nature, i'm not to happy to hear about that. Hopefully he will consider it too expensive. (he doesn't seem to realize you need full sunlight to grow nutritious crops.)

if that volcano goes boom! it will REALLY bring the Earth's temp down FAST. That's why you don't want Bill Gate doing anything silly.
