  1. Google wood ticks vs deer ticks...they don't look at all alike. Only Deer ticks carry Lyme....Wood ticks don't. Good luck!! ps the Royal Botanical Gardens near Burlington used to have quite a high level of Lyme disease about 15 yrs ago. I don't know if they still do.
