It's comical to me that just every single mother states firmly that you will NOT be her first priority, her kids will be. Which is fine, that's the way it should be, kids need attention and to be raised to be decent humans/citizens. However, when men DON'T prioritize the single mother or even want to date/know them, they take such offense to it, it's like they don't even realize the double standard they lecture about.

@stevemiller4494 That's a really interesting take on that as I agree with you on kids are MUCH better off in a stable, 2 parent home. But the majority of single mothers need to step up more because the father isn't around, whether it's because of she doesn't want him around or he disappeared on both of them. Just harder for the single mom.
