@danceswithwolves7115 No, go read the 25th ammendment. Section 2 Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

@seamanben3370 Pelosi is only third in line if something happens to both Biden and Harris at the same time. If Biden is impeached and actually removed from office Harris becomes President and appoints a new VP.

@to6030 Read the 25th Ammendment. Trump could be Speaker of the House. However, if Biden were to be impeached and removed (unlikely)from office Harris would become President. As President she would appoint a new VP.

@to6030 I would like to see Biden impeached, Harris too. However, there is nothing in the Constitution that lays out impeachment for both at the same time. The 25th Ammendment only states that if the president is impeached and removed from office (which takes a majority of 2/3 of the Senate) the VP becomes President and appoints a new VP. I'm not sure if Congress could or would conduct two impeachment trials at the same time. Also Trump could only serve 4 more years per the 22nd Ammendment.
