  1. When I went to college the first time in the mid 80's I didn't qualify for student loans. When I went back to finish my degree in 2000 I got a student loan. Sometimes I had 2,000 dollars or more left over. I was smart and put that money back towards my loans.

  3. My brother ended up in the same situation. He ended up paying them off. All while my loan dodging nephew was using that degree as a teacher.

  4. So if the government is going to pay off student loans, then every college age American not going to college should get the same amount.
