  1. I am a retired (2015) teacher too. I know that there are still some good teachers, but many have left the profession. I too felt that things were weird, getting out of control. The curriculum is not the same, we're dumbing down American children.

  2. I am a retired teacher. I also pushed back. I was thanked by many parents throughout my career. I didn't conform to the NEA and their agenda. I agree it's a lonely place to be. I think more (I hope) are beginning to speak up.
