@jahhebrew4968 You should really do yourself a favor and read the law. Georgia law addressed the issue of standing in line to vote. The new law says that if a voter has to stand in line for more than an hour then that precinct has to supply more voting machines or more places to vote.

@larryames8831 There was no party switch. The democrats love to say that, but if you look at voting records and historical data the facts don't lie. The southern states historically voted Democrat into the 90's. Also the Civil Rights Act of 1964 wouldn't have been passed if it wasn't for republicans. Robert Byrd held a filibuster to try and stop the Civil Rights Act from being passed. Most democrats voted against the Civil Rights Act.

@jahhebrew4968 Several states have similar laws regarding food and water. Even Joe Biden's home state of Delaware has a similar law. In my opinion it is a little silly, but it has nothing to do with a person's race. Just for clarification water can be placed in a cooler for people to get on their own. The law just prevents water or food being handed out. This was stated by the Georgia governor himself.

C. § 3167 New York, Montana, and Minnesota have similar laws.
