@MDpart2 You are not as independent as you think. You are still dependent on fossil fuels to make your solar panels and batteries. Also how much damage is being done to the environment mining for all that lithium?

@MDpart2 LOL you still spent money. You had to by your EV, solar panels, house charging station, etc. Enjoy replacing all those things when they go bad.

@notmecancelmenohelp-vy4ee My point is that's expensive. I don't know about your friend's generator, but most generators run on fuel. Most everything "green" involves fossil fuels. We are not going to be carbon zero anytime soon.
