  1.  @rustyshackelford8689  You say you know the Constitution, but that doesn't seem to be the case if I have to explain everything to you. DC was part of Maryland and Virginia before. Congress has the power to make new states, but they cannot make a new state out of states already part of the Union unless all are in agreement. In my opinion if the people of DC are unhappy because they are taxed without representation then DC should go back to the way it was, part of Maryland and Virginia.

  3.  @rustyshackelford8689  I don't care if you're a lawyer. The Constitution covers DC in section 1 article 8. DC is provided for the seat of the government.
