@markbishop1138 Stop living in the past. POC are not riding in the back of any bus today, unless they choose to. Slavery is part of American history, but it's not happening today. I bet you haven't taken the time to read any of the new voting Bills. There is nothing in SB202 that suppresses anyone's right to vote. In fact there is a provision in the law that addresses long lines and wait times. It states that poll workers must monitor their lines. If any voter is waiting in line for more than 1 hour, poll workers must provide more voting machines or add more voting sites. Even ID isn't an issue in Georgia or Texas because they will give any residents a free state ID.

@markbishop1138 I will agree, if you don't know history you are doomed to repeat it. You complain about the pictures of past President's pictures in the Capitol. Yes, some were slave owners. Wouldn't you agree that those President's are part of our history? Regardless of what they did they are part of history and should be remembered. If not we are surely doomed to repeat it. If reparations were to be made, they should have been made from 1865 to the early 1900's. I'm sorry it wasn't done, but there are no past slaves alive today and no slave owners alive either. We went through a Civil War in order to free people from slavery. We should remember what happened, but not live in the past.

@markbishop1138 It only hangs over your head if you let it. You cannot let the words of one man divide. We are all Americans in the eyes of God and that is what matters. Each one of us is capable of what ever we choose to do or be. Many of our ancestors were great people and accomplished great things throughout history. America has made great progress throughout the last 200 years. There is a reason why the windshield is larger than the rear view mirror. Look forward not behind.
