@User-z6e According to the White House pool as of May 22, 2023 Biden has spent 256 days on vacation. Which is about 30%. The 40% comes from a RNC & Washington Post tally through September of 2023 with 380 days on vacation.

@Underdog271 The House Republicans passed HR2 in May 2023. It's sitting in the Senate. Also Biden doesn't really need new legislation to secure the border. He has the power right now. The Immigration Nationalization Act Presidential Authority to restrict entry 212(f).

@BestRags1824 OK we'll go back to Congress doing their job. Biden and the Democratic Party had control of both chambers of Congress for two years. They didn't do anything about the crisis at the border. The House Republicans passed HR2 in May. It's sitting on Schumer's desk. Congress has a 16% approval rating for a reason. They are dysfunctional! Neither party wants to give an inch and when one party controls Congress and the Presidency they spend like drunken sailors! Furthermore, Biden doesn't need any new legislation to secure the border. Our immigration laws worked for previous presidents, but suddenly they're broken and it's Trump's fault. There are policy changes and regulations that can effect the price of gas. Yes, it is a global market. When Biden became President he imposed new regulations on the oil industry limiting carbon emissions. Also US oil production was low due to the pandemic. Those regulations and low production along with higher demand made prices for gas rise. Now our oil production is at or above pre-pandemic levels. More oil in the market = lower prices.
