@Susankerchner125 The Georgia Bill addressed the issue of long lines. Poll workers must monitor lines throughout the day, if a voter is waiting in line for more than 1 hour the poll workers must provide more voting machines or add more voting sites.

@brentduanefoster Georgia ID requirement - ID has always been required to vote in Georgia. The new Bill now requires ID for absentee ballots. Acceptable forms of ID are, Georgia driver’s license, Georgia state ID (which is free) any government ID, the last 4 numbers of your SS, a utility bill or bank statement can also be used for verification. It can't get much easier than that.

@mateolionhead Other states have similar laws. Poll workers can provide water for voters. Here's a similar law from New York Any person who…in respect of any election during the hours of voting…gives or provides, or causes to be given or provided, or shall pay, wholly or in part, for any meat, drink, tobacco, refreshment or provision to or for any person, other than [poll workers and other voting officials], except any such meat, drink, tobacco, refreshment or provision having a retail value of less than one dollar, which is given or provided to any person in a polling place without any identification of the person or entity supplying such provisions, is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. N.Y. Elec. Law § 17-140

@brentduanefoster They aren't talking about another ID. If people would read the Bill or visit the Georgia website they would know.
