  4. The Russians are fighting an economic war also. The EU is spending so much more money for their energy. No more cheap energy from Russia which made the EU wealthy. There will now be a reversal of fortune for the EU. Europeans used to pay very little for their gas consumption, now they are paying over five times, and eventually the large subsidy they receive to reduce their cost will soon run out.
