  1. A Russian commented on another channel regarding Russia's cheap gas to Europe. He said that for sixty years Russia provided cheap and reliable gas to Europe, but it was not for nothing, it was a sign of peace. Now the Europeans have rejected that peace.

  17.  @Inisfad  there is a complex system of interconnected pipelines that criss cross within Europe which supplies gas to each country from Russia. These pipe lines pass from Russia through Ukraine and other major connecting hubs. They can reverse supplies to each other. Germany receives the gas from Russia and sells it at a profit to Denmark, Poland and other countries. What their new plan is about, is to redirect gas reserves from Poland, France, Hungary, Denmark, to the manufacturing powerhouse Germany, inorder to keep their industries humming. LNG is not considered here as a substitute. Research Russia gas pipelines to Europe, there is a map, showing where the gas flows.
