  3. I saw the navy ship Dwight D Eisenhower leave Virginia. The navy men were celebrating and jubilant as the ship left the docks, the women and children were looking apprehensive. I felt a knot in my stomach as I watched. It was like a sad scene in a movie, knowing these navy men may not return home to their wives and children.
