  4. 1- people will always go to the island. A bridge won't change anything 2- there is no wait list to live there. They are phasing the houses out. Once a homeowner passes away or moves they are not allowed to sell it to anyone. It reverts back to the city. And there is no new scheduled development so no new places for people to wait to live there. And that is how it should be. This is a public park for everyone. It shouldn't be some persons private playground.

  5. It goes to the airport. You can't funnel thousands of people through the airport every day just to get to the other parts of the island. Need something that goes to the public spaces.

  6.  @theastuteangler  yeah you could probably do that but tunnels cost a lot more than a bridge. Far cheaper to build a bridge then a tunnel

  9.  @greg2142  why should people be forced to pay for a ferry to a public space when a bridge can be built and people can use it for free. Nobody said that a bridge would be the exact same as a ferry. Nor has anyone said that the ferry would be shut down and replaced. A bridge would work in conjunction to the ferry as an alternative. I agree that Toronto does have bigger issues however they are not the topic of this video. If you want to talk about larger issues maybe find a video about larger issues.

  14. Gardiner, Ontario Place and Ontario Science Center are all Ontario govt not Toronto govt. And Eglinton LRT is funded through Metrolinx....also Ontario govt. Not Toronto govt. So to correct your statement....The Ontario govt likes to start projects in Toronto but doesn't finish them. Blame the Ontario govt.
