he is the only one that has not only balanced the budget but also had a surplus and cut taxes in the last 20 years. You really think our last Liberal govt that spent billions of dollars shutting down a much needed power plant just to please a few voters in a rich neighbourhood did better? You really want to look at the Bob Rae days that put us billions of dollars in debt? Our politicians from all parties at all levels are incompetent but Dougie seems to be the best option of the worse available options.

@Jus275 you didn't need to mention the Liberals. You made it sound like Dougie is horrible but given the other options available and using the examples I provided that included the Liberals he is the best of the worst. He is not great but he is the only one that has balanced the budget and had a surplus that doesn't lead to tax increases. In fact he already reduced some taxes and govt fees that no other party has done (freeze on gas tax, no license plate renewal etc). The Liberals and NDP are far worse. So we have to live with what we get and so far he is the best we have given the alternatives.
