  1. Remember the following winter prep items: 1- Make sure you have a snow shovel and salt ready 2- Make sure you have snow tires and your car is winter equiped 3- Eat lots of beans and Taco Bell so you can fart in your gloves to keep your hands warm

  2.  @Sam19509  there is one on Kennedy in between Ellesmere and Lawrence that is combined with a KFC. And another one at combined with a KFC at Morningside and Lawrence where the old Morningside mall was located. Another one is located in Cedarbrae mall with KFC. I heard there was a new one on Birchmount but haven't been in that area in a little while so not sure.

  3. I don't think they salt them with rock salt. They spray them with a sticky liquid solution (I believe it is sugar from beet juice) that sticks to the ground so when it snows the snow and ice starts melting. If we only get a light flurry then the liquid solution is enough if it snows more then the solution starts to melt the snow which helps but then plows come in and plow the snow. After the plows have gone by then the trucks with the rock salt come. The rock salt is last in the process

  4.  @gulfy09  if the forecast is only 5 to 10 cm I thought they put salt to let it melt. If forecast is more than 5-10cm they start plowing then salt after. Seems a little confusing...try calling one of our city councilors to help clarify this for us.

  6.  @xCestLaVie1  complaining to your MPP won't do anything. Provinces have nothing to do with snow removal. It is the city's responsibility. You are calling the wrong person.
