  9.  @husseinbonaud1883  while I do agree with you that Mughals gave India some Indo Islamic arts but have you ever heard of majestic Temples and Palaces in South of India. Southern India has some of most wonderful arts and geometrical designs of all time and that too carved on stones and melted into metal works. the Temples of Mahabalipuram, Madurai , Tiruvanthapuram , Puri , Tirupati , Hampi , Ellora , Khajurao , Bhubaneshwar etc Even North India used to had many Buddhist stupas, Hindu temples like Somnath Mandir Martand Temple, Sanchi Stupa, Sarnath,Gyanvyapshi, Kashi Viswanath, amazing forts like those in Chitoorgarh , Udaipur, universities like Taxilla and Nalanda , Harmandir Sahib etc. but before the mughals , the turkic dynasties of delhi sultanates, specially the ghoris and khijis attacked, ransacked and looted many of these sites and filled their treasuries with them. and the Mughals with the exception to Akbar (even Akbar did this sometimes) kept this practice same of attacking and looting .especially under tthe likes of Babur Aurangzeb , it was lot worse because Hindu Temples were destroyed everywhere and on their destroyed bases mosques were built. The Gyanvapsi mosque is the biggest example of all. and those who opposed mughals, most never wanted to be subjugated by other rulers and to subjugate others. especially with the policies of Mewar which was hostile to any another kingdom. Plus the Marathas were the first rulers to actually invent the concept of modern nationalism into Indians as the ideas of "Swarajya" which means self rule. Marathas actually fought Mughals on Land and Europeans at sea for their ideals . and that's why marathas are my favorite. because even a Muslim ruler can be a part of Swarajya as long as he keep his connection iwth his cultural roots intact.a Great example is that Peshwa Bajirao 1 married the muslim rajput princess of Bundelkhand Mastani Bai, and their Son Samshera Bahadur chose to follow Islam in his late parent's honor as a part of Swarajya , but still he never deviated from the path of Swarajya.

  66.  @noriantiri9310  technically , on an industrial case, India evolved. But they say when a child grows up , innocence is first lost. As India industrialised on western toelines, The small cottage factories / small business sectors were hit the hardest. what actually made this matter even worse was not industrialisation of India itself, but how british colonial officers handled it. You see, as the British destroyed local small factories / cottage industries, most of whom were privately owned, they also denied the growth of western-technology based in India and denied many Indian industrialists facilities and loans to set up one. even the famous Tatas had to labor too hard for obtaining land ownership and permission to make their factories from colonial "gora babus" than they faced with labor or transportation of machinery to their factory. Youu see, The british wanted total monoply.for them ,India was no more thana cash cow, take milk from India (taxes, raw materials, minerals etc ) and feed them the sweets made from the cow's own milk ( British products). The Brits wanted a total monopoly in Indian market and didn't allow neither small sectors nor big sectors to Thrive. They also removed import duties from any British goods imported via Indian ports, conducted raids on Indian businessmen to make them "confess" for their "corrupt dealings" and made the license of permit process more difficult. Idk which colonial officers spoke it but it was true 100% "We will not allow these Indians to manufacture even a single needle ". proof, Republic of India , at the end of 1947-48, had a few big industries standing like those of Tatas and Birlas and half of the small cottage industries survived to the bare skeleton. And 1st PM Jawaharlal nehru had to request both West Germany and later USSR to make facories , specially Steel plants and Automobiles.

  106.  @umaryusuf537  tel me a single war in Indian subcontinent where rape and pillage culture and temple destruction culture was practiced. wars were fought full blood-on, and even temples were surrendered to be looted. But had a single temple being Destroyed ?and their Idols vandalised ? The Tamil Cholas and The Odia Gajapatis were famous for respecting and worshipping the idols they won from wars over other kingdoms while they destroyed zero temples. Plus no Buddhist and Jain monasteries were ever attacked in many wars which were fought on , except for Ashoka and under Pushyamitra sungha , the formal did a massacre of Jains because He didn't like their teachings for a bit while the later was against Buddha's teachings. I can't say the same for many muslim rules in India where in case of exceptions , the opposite happened ( under a Few muslim rulers like Balban, Raziya and Akbar ,lootings, rapes and pillaging was stopped ) . and what logic is that ? to avoid jaziya , people converted to islam? this is a prime example of forced conversion because no jaziya literally means you are going to be sentenced to worse forms of death . and they still do that to no muslim minorities in pakistan. forced conversions. and for Fellow dalits , who converted to Islam, very little changed for them. on the contrary , their upper caste oppressors, to avoid the fate of death , also changed to the same religion and treated the aljafs (lower caste muslims ) same. apologists like you will be telling that mughals in India brought riyasat e madina with them. The reality fact is, it wasn't even a fraction of what Riyasat e Madina was . A blood soaked Mughal Empire and Riyasat e madina has hell and heaven culture between them.the formerwas bent on destroying Indian culture instead of respecting to it,The latter to an extent ,respected and prospered under bit progressivism before that was destroyed by Mongols . This is why the times of riyasat a madina was called Golden age for Islam. not the age of mughals which was filled with cries and blood of those millions of poor souls who were devoured by the mughals and the central asian invaders.
