  1.  @williamgray9692  even in First Chechen war ,the Russians were slaughtered in the streets of Grozny like flies and Chechens decisively won that war. Do you know what happened to those Chechens in the second one? It was their turn to die in their own city, roasted to death by Russian Thermobaric bombs. The Russians also lost a kinda winnable war against Japan. You know what they did in 1939 and 1945? They wiped off the largest armies of Japan in China within one week . And that too before surrender. Same thing with Hitler and Napoleon Bonaparte. The fact is Yes , Russians lost wars too. Very badly. But unlike others , they come back for revenge ( because revenge is what they inherited from the Mongols) .and once they come for phase two , it's impossible to stop them. They will just keep coming for revenge. And with each attempt get better in it. I am not telling Ukrainians are lucky. It is because of their skills, strategies and weapons that the Russians have to eventually abandon the siege of Kiev and retreat from North. But now like the Russians underestimated Ukrainians in the first phase , The Ukrainians and especially the NATO oligarchy are underestimating the Russians who are doing well in south and east.
