But you're right, the easiest way to deal with a global epidemic is to spend almost 4 years running ad campaigns about not wearing masks or getting vaccines or locking down public spaces but instead locking down borders and literally no other actual plan because apparently Chinese hoaxes require at the minimum, a locking down of borders. Wouldn't want anyone to be exposed to a hoax by foreigners or anything
