These floods are mostly man made disasters that your government caused. Usually through poor central planning and having lack of environmental awareness. So what do you do?   19. I never ever heard of any occurrences here in the states where they have open up dams flood gates and not tell the public about or warn them in advance. Not once. If anything they give 24 to 72 hour warning if such a thing were to happen.
