I would like to see UK citizens retain the right to an EU passport. People in Northern Ireland can get an Irish passport so won't have to wait in the 'non-EU' queue.

There is a strong argument that the EU is going to be stronger without the British. Already you see signs of recovery in the Euro-zone as the UK economy starts to falter. This is partly what explains the strength and unity - among 27 nations - of the EU negotiating position, whereas the UK is all over the shop. They don't have a basic idea of what they want, and the divisions may get worse as the damage Brexit will do becomes clearer.

Some want to stay in the internal market, some don't. Some want to stay in the customs union, some don't. And yes, some want to stay in the EU. Let's see who people elect and what those MPs decide when the terms of Brexit become clear in 18 months or so.

Sterling has already tanked 25% and it's still two years until Brexit.

Younger people voted to stay in the EU. Older people - especially pensioners - voted for Brexit. These are facts and no amount of calling me an idiot will change them.

According to data gathered by the British pollster YouGov <https://twitter.com/JoeTwyman/status/746100793581903873> <https://twitter.com/JoeTwyman/status/746100793581903873>on election day, 75 percent of people aged between 18 and 24 voted for Remain. 61% of over-65s voted for Brexit. https://twitter.com/JoeTwyman/status/746100793581903873 What are you saying - that young people voted for Brexit? Or that pensioners didn't? What's your point?

You're right in that we will have to wait and see how parliament votes when the hard reality of Brexit arrives ... what % of the 52% voting for Brexit wanted a hard Brexit is rather speculative.

The pound isn't far off the Euro now - from 1.4 to 1.15 .... I would like to see UK citizens retain the right to an EU passport. People in Northern Ireland can get an Irish passport so won't have to wait in the 'non-EU' queue.

Yes, the fall after the vote. A fall that has continued. Hence the growing inflationary pressure in the UK.

The way the pound has collapsed, you;d be sure Adolf Farage will have dumped his sterling for Euros. True, fewer idiots would vote for him now even after he's failed to get into parliament seven times!
