I never knew Greece and Macedonia are 2 different things, i always thought them to be same .I think 90% people in Asia will say same .North Macedonia country is also not popular in Asia ,only someone in Asia with very good knowledge of world geography might have heard of this country. I think people of North Macedonia should ask their embassy around the world to be more active so that people can know about their history and country.

  2. Bro don't be offended but Macedonian is a very misleading name for your country. In past, our ancestors fought Macedonians and those Macedonians were not slavs .One of queen Helena, married to our Mauryan king was from Macedonia. Helena was daughter of Selucus Nekator .

  3. I don't understand mate, here in India we have always learnt that all wars in past was among Macedonian king Alexander- Porus or Macedonians-Mauryans. First time i have seen someone claiming that those Macedonian were slavs .That's interesting.

  4. Alexander came to conquer India but failed, but the important thing is that man or his generals like Selucus were not slavs .I think you are talking about some another Alexander .

  5. Bro, in India ,we are taught all wars we had in past were with Greeks .Also, the names of those generals and Ambassadors were not sIavic ,so any Indian will be surprised to know that those people were not Greeks ,no need to get offended .

  6. In India, greeks could only reach morden day Pakistan as those kingdoms has few war elephants. Later Macedonians were defeated and pushed beyond Afghanistan (Gandhar) by Mauryans, you should read works of greek ambassador to Mauryan empire, Megasthenes .He clearly mentions this in Indica .Also ,none of those Geeeks related to our history had sIavic names .I never knew there was an issue about the nationality of Alexander 🤷🏻‍♂️

  7. Bro you need to calm down ,in our history we have always been taught that our ancestors fought greeks ,it's very surprising and baffling for anyone living here to learn that those were sIavs not greeks .

  8. I think very few here even know that a country called Macedonia exists. They will assume Macedonia as Greece and it's not their problem ,it's your embassy that should make people aware of this especially in countries with huge populations like India ,China ,Indonesia etc.
