They have no spine. They should have showed up to vote whichever way they believe s right not just abstain to try to avoid upsetting anyone who might vote against them. I don't care which way they voted, they should have shown up and voted

@T5Zplayer No they didn't. Blair was found to have lied to parliament and it was Cameron who was PM at the time who chose not to implement the recommendations of the committee at that time. Corbyn was Labour leader and wanted Blair punished. Incidentally, Corbyn voted against the Iraq war wile the majority of conservatives voted to go to war

@T5Zplayer No it wasn't but because it handled wrong once, should it never be done better?

@T5Zplayer There was an investigation in to Blairs lies but strangely it was Cameron who decided to do nothing about the result. The banking crash was a worldwide financial disaster, we could never have avoided it and we survived it better than some countries however, if Thatcher & Major hadn't removed banking regulation or if Blair and Brown had reinstated that regulation then we would have come out of it better. Not having a decade of austerity afterwards which achieved nothing but stagnating our economy and wages would have helped as well. Other countries who didn't take the austerity route recovered faster and came out stronger

Harmon slapped down Mogg in parliament yesterday quite ell. He stood up to say she was biased and should have stepped down as chair. She responded to say she raised the perception of bias with the government and offered to step down but they made the choice to keep her as chair. They could have removed her if they thought there was a problem and she wouldn't have fought it

They did it so they can say in interviews either "I didn't vote against Johnson, I was loyal to him" or "I didn't vote to protect Johnson from the consequences of his actions" depending on the interview
