I left my corporate job in 2005, and I've never regretted it. I made a lot more money than I would have if I had stayed in corporate America, and I've had unbelievable experiences and freedom. It was the best life decision I ever made. 15-20 years from now, I think you might feel the same way.

@jobuckley2999 I do, yes. I have multiple myeloma and I was unable to work for several months earlier this year because of a series of hospitalizations.

@Ek70R Are you suggesting that I'm abnormal? 😀 It's like anything else. Some people work well outside a corporate environment, while a lot of people do better with a traditional job.

@Ek70R Oh, I was just being playful. I think it really is petty hard for the average person to escape corporate America, actually. Jared has a good head start because of the following he has here on YouTube. Also, sometimes people are just forced into situations where they HAVE to make it work. The income ups and downs can be especially challenging.
