Very brave man - as we all know Boeing had the other retired whistleblower murdered.

It comes as no surprise whatsoever: self glorification and bragging rights at the local pub trumps everything for some people. I need to correct the telegraph on one thing, 'though: they don't do this to "local porters": they leave other climbers to die, too.

Well - I hope at least the US paid him well. Throwing away your life in an attempt to throw away your country was not a smart thing to do.

The iceberg returns to save the ship!
55
That is horrifying. I hope they'll be rescued safe and well.

He didn't "try" to push the postman onto the tracks - he Did throw him onto the tracks. That was an attempt to kill him. Has he been charged? Actually forget that question, I already know the answer.

Is the officer critical? I didn't know that. BTW that officer tackled one of the people who had stopped the attack. 3 people stopped the attacker and brought him to the ground, then the police showed up and roared at them to let him go. The officer in question then jumped on one of the three men who had been holding the attacker down, and the attacker just jumped back up and started stabbing people again while the police stood there and did nothing.

Thanks for clarifying this: our media, true to form, loves the bloodshed and drama, but couldn't be bothered with the context or the back story.
32
The Telegraph is despicable - and a massive part of the problem.
29
Well done, that man. See how rattled the guy is. A little bit of glitter, a raised voice and he's terrified. S39 assault - wtf is that. Loud voice accompanied with glitter?
27
Thanks for clarifying. Our main stream media loves the drama and the bloodshed, but don't actually report on what happened.
26
Yes, but the Telegraph, like most of our media outlets in the UK will never let the truth get in the way of a story that fits their narrative.
24
Look at all those unhappy faces. Farage's first appearance is great just to see the look on their faces alone :D
21
Our grandparents, great grandparents, great great grandparents and further back fought tooth and nail for over 700 years, only for a gang of corrupt criminals to do all this for a handful of bribes.
21
I always felt she was involved in that murder: it's interesting to see that many others felt the same.
20
He's an embarrassment.
15
What an amazing achievement, to be the youngest prime minister. Utterly, incredibly amazing. So - what exactly did he do to qualify for the job again?
15
True. They've been failing a lot lately.
14
I think we've had enough of comments being "turned off".
14
Such a huge appetite for it all - from a journalist who knows she'll never be in a trench and a PM who's own son won't ever be sent over.
13
Where was The Telegraph during the BLM riots? Telling us all it was a mostly peaceful protest while police officers got on their knees in front of them.
12
Well said.
11
What's the purpose of turning the comments off?
11
@HRM.H Nothing wrong with hoping.
10
Its worse than that. I saw the entire footage: 3 people wrestled him to the ground within seconds. The police appeared, roared at them to let him go, tackled one of the 3 to the ground, and then stood there doing nothing as the attacker jumped up and started stabbing people again. They only shot him when he stabbed one of the officers in the neck (the same officer who tackled one of his subduers to the ground).
10
He was always present as an MEP. At this stage the only people supporting the tories and labour are their own activists.
10
He's waving at Mexican border security personnel. The joke's on the Telegraph.
10
Because they are utterly worthless police. Completely, utterly worthless. Those victims should sue.
9
Yeah - we've seen what US State Dept funded democracy brings.

zbot...........ybot.......xbot. I see bots everywhere......bot......bot....................

Are these British police? Because there always seems to be a new lead in the Algarve just around the time holiday season begins over there.
7
Well, its good to have the Telegrift around if there is ever another toilet paper shortage again.
7
Exactly. But they don't want to.
7
Me, too. I live in the UK and have been following the conflict in Ukraine since 2014: I've been telling anyone who will listen exactly what's been going on there. I'm glad to see most people over here aren't buying the lies anymore..
6
Well said. Nobody I know is going to lift a finger for this gang. Even ex-soldiers are saying they won't get involved in this madness.
6
These people are heroes. The other day I stood on a road for 5 hours and by the time I got home 5 thousand new tress had grown in the Amazon and the hole in the ozone had disappeared. Who could have known all this could be achieved by just standing?
6
Very easy to say. The police wouldn't be facing this if they didn't use such blatant double standards in policing. The British have been remarkably patient right up to this point with the poice turnign a blind eye to the crimes of one section of the community, while coming down like a ton of bricks on everyone else.
6
Yes, lol :D.
6
Who's paying to keep your outlet afloat, Daily Telegrift?
6
Superior intellects. That conflict has been going on for 10 years. Too many of our superior intellects don't seem to want to talk about the first 8 years. Its a pity that more people don't look into why that is.
6
Exactly.
5
The Telegraph is a roll of anglo saxon toilet paper.

For someone who caused so much destruction without a care in the world, she sure is sensitive.

In 2014 the Ukraine government was overthrown and a new government was installed: they immediately began attacking East Ukraine, which is mainly ethnic Russian, and these attacks led to the war that followed. A peace deal was signed and a new elected government formed. But the attacks on East Ukraine continued and intense shelling of East Ukraine began 2 weeks ago: this is when East Ukraine mobilised and, with the help of Russia, began pushing Ukraine govt forces out. These facts are all a matter of record: I'm shocked that so many people are believing the same media taht has lied to us so many times before. I would urge anyone to just look further into what's going on there and what has led to this.
5
"Later revealed?" So none of these people knew, eh? Not even the Deputy PM whose own family has a history not too far from the man they were all applauding. I find this excuse very, very hard to believe.
5
We need historians who tell the truth.
4
Well, there has been a long line of politicians saying great things, and then doing the opposite or saying the opposite when they're in office. Its easy to say great things, actually backing words up is what really matters.

Russian troops were invited into East Ukraine, which is mainly ethnic Russian, after they faced 8 years of attacks and shelling at the hands of Kiev forces. Kiev forces began amassing o the border and shelling intensified in Feb 2022 - that's when east Ukraine asked Russia in to help them end this once and for all.

@charleswhite758 If so, the bee has my sympathies.
