Yes - Its on youtube - brilliant documentary. Its called 'The Little Prince, The Big Fight'.

True - I've heard all sorts of weird remarks about the fight, the funniest being "He never knocked him out". Barrera outboxed and outclassed him, dismantled him, taught him a lesson in humility and ended his career - all in 12 rounds.

@ravenaussie3760 No - you just admitted all the things that made hamed the loser: he was the amateur, Barrera was the professional: he wasn't up to the fight - Barrera was. The better man won - Barrera. And name calling as if you're a child in a schoolyard is not going to change that fact.

@ravenaussie3760 Lol - yes, he fell short of all the things he needed in order to the win the fight. Barrera did train, made sure he had no weight issues, carried whatever injuries he had to the fight (like a real fighter): in other words he beat hamed because he was the better man. Over 20 years and the excuses are still flying.

@ravenaussie3760 Yeah - lol: in other words if he was a better fighter he would have beaten Barrera - that's like saying "the only reason that ball didn't go into the goal is because the footballer had a sore foot". Lol. Get real: you know nothing about boxing. Barrera won because he was the better man: BTW Hamed refused a rematch, even though his little handy would have healed by that time and he had plenty of time to train and lose weight - he refused because he knew Barrera would beat him again and was way out of his class.
3
@ravenaussie3760 Oh yeah, and Barrera was faster, sharper and more accurate....but that's only because he prepared better, otherwise he would DEFINITELY have lost LOL!

From Naseem Hamed to Naseem Hammered!

Lol me too. I've literally lost count of the amount of times I've watched the match. BTW there is a documentary that follows the weeks leading up to the fight - if you haven't seen it its well worth a watch: "The Little Prince, The Big Fight" - its on youtube.

Exactly.

@ravenaussie3760 Lol "If Hamed had won the fight he would have been the winner - the only reason he lost the fight is because he lost". Yeah, sure thing, ravenaussie. You are funny.
2
@ravenaussie3760 Lol - yeah the only reason George Foreman lost against Muhammid Ali was because he didn't get enough sleep before the fight and with all the stress he wasn't eating lol. So really he won the fight, really, it's just that he was so tired the judges picked Ali as the winner. LOL!!!!
2
@ravenaussie3760 Hey - I just realised something: the only reason Manny Pacquiao lost to Manuel Marquez was becasue Marquez knocked him out - and the only reason he was able to KO him was because Pacquiao hadn't prepared for that particular punch: but otherwise Pacquiao would have won easily. :D Lol!
2
@ravenaussie3760 Yeah - come to think of it the only reason Mike Tyson beat so many opponents is because they just weren't prepared for him: otherwise they would have turned him into a hamburger. LOL - and won easily hahaha.
2
@ravenaussie3760 Ah - he lost because his poor little handy wandy was sore, and he didn't have his trainer, and the gym was too warm for him to spar in and the weather in Las Vegas was too hot and made him sweat, and the ring was too small, and the Mexican's arms were too long and he didn't have the boxing gloves he wanted HAHAHA!
2
@ravenaussie3760 Lol and vegas was too noisy and he couldn't sleep and the gym was too crowded and there was no air conditioning and the US food wasn't nutritious enough and his hotel's air conditioning wasn't working and his bed wasn't comfortable......
2
@ravenaussie3760 Clown Prince lol....and the air was too dry and the lights were too bright and there was a hostile crowd and the vibes were all wrong...hahaha!
2
Naseem Hammered lol!
2
Lol "Everything was evenly divided until the 11th round". "Hamed lost because of Hand injuries". Get real. Barrera outboxed and outclassed him, dismantled him, taught him many life lessons, particularly in humility, and ended his career - all in less than 50 minutes, whether fanboys masquerading as commentators want to admit it or not.

@BrianBoru5523 T=You're welcome. By the way "naseem" means 'gentle breeze': He looked more like a 'broken wind' by the time Barrera had finished with him.

Exactly.
1
Exactly. I couldn't believe the amount of snivelling excuses that were coming out of this "presenter".
1
@ravenaussie3760 Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. And the excuses keep coming. Lol - talk about sore losers.
1
@ravenaussie3760 Lol - I like your spirit:just like your hero even when you've lost you think you've won hahahaha. Loser.
