When I first moved to London to work I remember being outraged listening to a (law abiding and respectful) co-worker telling me how much she hates the police: over a decade later I understand what she meant. They are an utterly useless force and they treat everyone as a criminal. Cowardly, corrupt leadership and their performance during the lockdown has left me with very little respect for them. I agree with Peter and the older lady. The two younger ones have no idea what they are talking about.
