  2. I was just about to write that very comment about Erin Pizzey until I saw your's. What the 70's feminists did to her was reprehensible. Widdecombe also mentioned the suffragettes - in fact the suffragettes were involved in the 'white feather' campaign which shamed thousands of young men into enlisting during WW1 and being slaughtered in no man's land.

  3. Ann Widdecombe said she is a 70's feminist. Really? Look at what the 70's feminists did to Erin Pizzey. Widdecombe also mentioned the suffragettes - in fact the suffragettes were complicit in the 'white feather' campaign that sent thousands of young men to their slaughter during WW1. It's a shameful part of history that seems to have been swept under the carpet - even Ann Widdecombe doesn't seem to know about it (?). I'm very surprised at her naivety here.
