Assembly math with the origin of cell Genesis. Is fascinating.

God as a physical being: that is a human perception that is self serving. Considering how small the local universe is to the total universe human perceptions of God are ridiculous ... Like atheism - fine if that makes you feel better. Best question in this podcast: what is outside the universe? Choose the answer you want. To me, it's obvious. David Butler

Two guests on your podcasts are better than one guest. I suspect that you've long since have come to that conclusion even if it's more work for you. Amusing to watch guests unintentionally interrupt. My siblings definitely don't that drawback. This podcast is definitely fun to watch.

Time is not fundamental. It is emergent from space just like matter and energy. Inflation then 'Big Bang' dictates that.

Be careful about anthropomorphic machines. The fictional Borg were corporal machines which like wolves gobbled up their prey.

Although there are many who are enchanted by Turning and his machine, I've never been impressed by Turning despite the impact that Turing has had to computer design. I liked the simplicity of the IBM card than the silly paper tape imitation of the Turing machine ... I especially dislike the use of infinity in any theory. Infinity is on the border of human limits lazy and programmers too lazy to put any time into 'useful' UI. You two guests, however, are better than Turning and the lazy ones in our midst. David Butler

Did some wiki searching while watching this podcast. Assembly theory is a useful magnet for recently coined phrases. For example: 'circumstellar envelope' a mouthful way of saying stellar halo and my favorite: 'interstellar and circumstellar molecules':which is definitely a mouthful. Alex, you must be in heaven. Anyone who has heard the small voice (different than a conscience) more than once knows that is not a silly machine. Don't worry, the moment after you die (a long time from now) you'll know for sure because there'll be conversation about the meaning of life. David Butler
